Duties / Responsibilities:
• Actively develops new and expands current business in the Western Cape area.
• Liaises with customers to identify water treatment needs for new and existing applications.
• Develops and executes sales to key target accounts.
• Provides technical services to customers (mechanical, operational and chemical).
• Continually works to maintain attrition levels within acceptable group limits.
• Improves sales and technical skills as well as product knowledge through continual training and attendance at professional meetings and conferences.
• Prepares annual sales forecasts for review and approval by the Regional Sales Manager.
• Maintains expenses within budget limits.
• Provides service calls reports, sales calls, reports and meetings neat, timely and in an orderly manner.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company safety policy.
• The main focus needs to be on the F&B industry as well as all Middle Market related customers in this area with an extended middle market industry focus.

Qualifications / Experience:
• Matric.
• Tertiary qualification in the Chemistry/Microbiology/Metallurgy field is a pre-requisite.
• Minimum of 3-5 years working experience.
• Water treatment (boilers, cooling liquid/solids separation) experience is essential.
• Valid SA driver’s license.
• Proven successful background in sales.
