To support continued development in our Grain & Beverage business, we wish to recruit an experienced Account Manager for our business in MEA (Middle East & Africa) region. You will be responsible for identifying and managing new business opportunities and creating the action plan to turn such opportunities into realized sales, including preparing and maintaining high-quality account plans for allocated customers; supporting the international account team by providing input, following up on assigned actions, coordinating between customers and the company; providing input and actively supporting the Industry Group Network (IGN). As a Sales Account Manager you will be the primary relationship manager for customers and distributors and should provide both pre and after-sales advice. You will combine your talents for getting results and finding commercial opportunities with your grounding in the technical aspects of the grain and beverage industries. In this position you need to:
- Hold a University degree (technical or sales) or equivalent 3rd level qualification
- Have minimum 3 years of commercial experience in brewing/beverage industry
- Possess strong business acumen – in particular understanding of negotiation principles, account planning, solution selling, value pricing and supply chain principles
- Be familiar with the basic legal principles and terms as well as the basic financial analysis principles
- Have the ability to identify customer needs and translate needs into mutually beneficial solutions as well as being responsible, goal-oriented, well organized and self-motivated
- Have good communication and presentation skills and demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office standard software)
- Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time in designated region is a prerequisite as well as fluency in written/spoken English language. Knowledge of French language is of benefit
